Gorman-Rupp Ultra V Series, Super T Series, 10 Series and PA Series trash pumps are all designed for sewage and industrial wastewater handling. Materials of construction are available where corrosives and abrasives are present. SF Series submersible trash pumps are designed for trash handling applications as well. These trash pumps can handle liquids with solids content up to 3" diameter.
Applications with low content of smaller solids
80 Series self-priming pumps effectively meet the needs of applications with a limited amount of solids. Super U Series pumps are high-efficiency self-priming pumps that handle solids up to 1.25" diameter with efficiencies up to 75%.
Clear water and other liquids without solids content
80 Series and O Series self-priming pumps are designed for limited solids and clean liquid applications, respectively. Typical applications are transfer of refined product such as petrochemicals, fuel and clean water. VG and VGH Series centrifugal pumps can be used for general-purpose process applications.
Thick, viscous liquids
Positive displacement rotary gear pumps are available in cast iron, cast steel and stainless steel. These pumps handle a wide range of liquids from thin and clean to thick and viscous. These pumps can be applied in situations with viscosity up to 2,000,000 SSU (440,000 cSt), temperatures over 675 F (357 C) and abrasives such as paints and inks.
Applications requiring maximum operating efficiency
Gorman-Rupp offers a range of priming assisted (dry prime) and centrifugal pumps for high pressure (head) applications. O Series pumps are self-priming, high pressure pumps for clean liquids. Depending on the model, VG and VGH Series centrifugal pumps reach heads of over 200 PSI. The PA Series consists of priming-assisted pumps for high pressure applications with intermittent flow.
Industrial wastes, transfer, process with abrasives
Depending on the model, Gorman-Rupp manufactures pumps for abrasive applications. The Super T and Super U series are available in CD4MCu construction or fitted with CD4MCu and G-R Hard Iron. CD4MCu, G-R Hard Iron and lightweight urethane material are also available in the submersible line. All are designed for increased abrasion resistance and longer pump life.
Gorman-Rupp 10 Series, Super T Series, Super U Series and S Series pumps are available in 316 Stainless steel, CD4MCu and Alloy 20 materials for increased corrosion resistance. Various seal configurations are available. All are excellent for industrial wastewater, process and transfer applications where corrosives are present.
